Award nominated Australian actress Virginia Hey has achieved prominence, recognition and success not only nationally throughout her native Australia, but also around the world. In June of 2000, Ms. Hey was nominated for "Best Supporting Actress" on television by the 26th Annual Saturn Awards of America. In 2002 Ms. Hey’s status was significantly escalated following her nomination for a LOGIE (Australian "Emmy" award) as "Best Actress". Born in Sydney, Ms. Hey divided her time and education between her hometown and London. Ms.Heys last major TV role was playing one of the 5 lead characters, an Alien Priest "Zhaan" for 3 years on the award-winning international blockbuster American television series "Farscape" which was #1 on the Sci Fi Channel.

Ms. Hey’s acting career began following a successful modeling career, where she was spotted by casting directors and placed in her big screen debut with Mel Gibson in the film classic Mad Max 2: Road Warrior, in which she portrayed Warrior Woman. Since then, Ms. Hey has also appeared with numerous international stars, including George C. Scott in Mussolini, Heath Ledger in Roar, James Bond 007 Timothy Dalton in The Living Daylights, and Christopher Atkins in Signal One.

Miss Hey recently received her Greencard and now resides in the USA.

Virginia played an Alien Priest who was a Healer, Scientist, Warrior with extraordinary powers of spiritual awareness and strength. This role entailed extensive hand painted blue make-up. Virginia is not a prosthetic actress, this was a one-off experience for her in prosthetics.

Virginia has taught health, nutrition, beauty and confidence over the last 20 years in Australia. Since she has been residing in the USA she has been teaching meditation at her own 2 hour workshops. Virginia began the life long passion for meditation as a child. As an adult she has pursued the study of meditation and many modalities of natural healing.

In the 60's and 70's Virginia explored many modalities of meditation, learning via countless instructional books devoured by a young hungry mind driven to find the elusive connection between the physical self and the spiritual self. In 1985 Virginia studied Visualization Meditation formally for 3 years. 1989 Massage. 1992 Virginia began a triple diploma course in Naturopathy, Homeopathy and Herbal Medicine, she attended one year full time at The Australasian College Of Natural Therapies and left to star in a movie “Signal One”. In 1998 She went onto study and become certified in Basic Reiki and Advanced Reiki with Barbara McGregor who is a master teacher in Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki. Also in 1998 Virginia began a 2 year course, “Higher Self Connection”, gaining several certificates in "Lightwork" from the Academy.

(A Lightworker can be any Religion, it is simply someone who uses prayer for the good of man. To explain in a little more detail: A Lightworker is someone who meditates regularly and utilizes and taps-into the Love and radiant white Light of our Highest Power (God) to fill their meditations with the Highest good and purist prayer intentions, and sends healing prayers to themselves, others, and the planet.)

By 2000 Virginia had finally found all answers she had been seeking in her lifelong search.... Meditation was the key to finding all answers, meditation is the key to all life and the key to the connection with your Spiritual body and your Highest power (God).

Since 2001 Virginia has attended scores of personal appearances around the world, primarily talking about her acting work which has spanned 21 years, and as time went by she began teaching meditation workshops at these appearances.

Im not a Buddhist, Im Christian, but my beliefs about our relationship with "upstairs" and the connection with self spans many wide and wondrous Spiritual avenues.

My mission - I have a massive sorrow and disgust for the disrespect, humiliation and cruelty of animals and children. I will fight for the rights of those with no choices.. Im shameless in my fight. Im a mother to all the helpless and will spend the rest of my life trying to teach respect of all life. I feel thats my mission and I wont stop.. I am convinced we are all here on earth to learn respect of life.. Respect of the life of the ground, the air, the water, the life that grows in the earth, the sea, the life that walks on the earth, and respect for eachother.. simple? One would think so, but yet it is something very few humans understand.. Im not a nut, Im not a saint, Im just an ordinary person with flaws who is thinking about more than a 4 ft radius around me..

On a lighter note - Im in love with the beauty of nature ... Im not ashamed to drool at a majestic sunset! Hee hee..

In between work in Australia my hobby was studying Natural Therapies, but since Ive been here in the USA Ive just studied how to try to be still, and Ive put all my Naturopathy knowledge into my products at my soy candle business, White Flower Lei.

But be sure not to get the wrong impression.. As I said to a friend, "..my holistic beliefs may make me sound more of a hippy than I am really.. but it is a part of me, its not an active moment to moment "affectation", more something that lives quietly inside. On the outside Im just like everyone else.. I still have a rebel living next door to the holistic Angel!!"

I want to know how everything ticks, what makes it work.. Im a curious person. A loyal friend, a HOPELESS romantic when faced with another hopeless romantic whos heart falls into mine.. very much a loner when Im alone. Before exploring natural therapies studies I went to art school, modeled & then went the way of TV performing arts in Australia as my primary career.. I like to think Im arty.. but not eccentric.. (well, not TOO eccentric)..I know who I am and like my own space.. Im not pretentious I dont think, hope not.. Im naturally quiet but can swing into a bubbly extrovert when the mood grabs me, or work demands it, or when a twinkle in someones eye sparks it.. I love pets, and respect all life.. Im kinda bookish, cheeky, love to chatter and explore topics, explore different restaurants and explore life.
